Wedding Video Gold Coast

Ecostudio Fellini Wedding Photography & Video Ryan & Lacey

Hi everybody Rob here, right from the moment I met Ryan & Lacey I knew 2 things.. firstly that it was going to be a fun wedding & that we were going to get along well.  Secondly, that these guys are REALLY REALLY in love. It was great to be around, its weddings like this that make me want to spend more time with all of our couples prior to the wedding & build that kind of relationship. I think this is what makes up the best gold coast wedding photographer.

Weather that be coming into the studio or catching up for coffee, generally when I am out on a destination wedding I get to spend even more time then this generally we would have a dinner the night prior with the bridal party as well as friends & family, it really creates a special atmosphere as well as helps everybody to be comfortable with us as part of there group rather then being awkward with us around on such a special & intimate day.

Lacey & her bridesmaids where great fun in the morning whilst getting ready to wrap music, lots of fun and laughter with a little emotion in the air. Fast forwarding to when then girls started to walk down the isle the emotions got lifted again as Ryan saw each one of the girls & then eventually the beautiful bride Lacey, Ryan couldn't hold his emotions in & his tears flowed which were closely followed by some of my own & would almost definitely be me on my own wedding day. I have said this in the past but I really feel that the fact I can feel these emotions gives me a advantage in capturing them & sharing these special moments with you guys.

The venue for the day was Ecostudio Fellini which is set in the picturesque foothills of Springbrook National Park, naturally providing a picture-perfect backdrop for couples celebrating their special day. This is one of the Gold Coast's most popular wedding venues. One that we are hoping to shoot more at in 2017.

Ryan & Lacey's reception where full of heartfelt speeches its great to see how close a group like this and their families can be. I think the video reflects this and I hope it passes on the same emotions it does for us here at J'adore, I would love to hear your comments.

Intercontinental Wedding Photo & Video - Sanctuary Cove - Gold Coast, Russ & Tiare

Weddings really have changed a lot over the last 20 years look at back my parents wedding photos and video and most from this era. They all seem to be very similar but with different people. I love that the weddings of today are a reflection of the couple and also friends and family. Russ & Tiare had such a great mix of tradition with different cultures and dances. It was a very fun day for all invloved which I also think reflects our couple. The way they look at each other tells the other side of the story the passion and love deep with in there eyes.

My name is Rob and I was lucky enough to have been part of the J'adore team for the day. The venue for the day is one of my favorites the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove which is on the Gold Coast. It is such a great all in one venue with great accommodation, ceremony, photos and reception options. The morning went very smooth with both the bride are grooms preparation being covered with photo and video. The ceremony was then at the glass chapel which is almost a famous landmark on the Gold Coast. I love ceremonies because it's one of the only days men are expected and allowed to get emotional and Russ didn't disappoint when Tiare reached the end of the isle arm in arm with her father. I really do love these moments and generally end up shedding a tear or 2 myself as it's beautiful to see love at its purest moments.

After the ceremony we took the opportunity to wonder around the Intercontinental grounds with the ocean, gardens and water features there is a great selection of options to work with. I will let you be the judge as you view the selection of images we have included as our story images in the blog.

The reception venue was at The Grange. Such a great spot as you can see everything from anywhere in the room. So speeches and dance etc gives everybody a front row seat as previously mentioned the reception was a lot of fun with some dancers who got the crowd involved. Once the formalities where over it seemed like the whole group hit the dance floor. It was a great atmosphere. We received a great response from Russ & Tiare when we sent them there wedding video and images, it really does mean so much when we get amazing feedback from our clients. We hope you enjoy aswell. I would love to hear some of your feedback aswell.

Sanctuary Cove Intercontinental Wedding Photography & Videography Gold Coast - Todd & Jill

On April 15th we had yet another gorgeous wedding at the Intercontinental, located in Sanctuary cove on the gold coast shooting for the gorgeous bride & groom, Todd & Jill. Having meet with the love birds only a week prior to the wedding to sort out the finer details we found that we got along quite well, with the wedding just around the corner it was all getting very exciting! Although the relaxed nature of the both of them was very calming, a very easy going couple they were more then happy to go with the flow, just what we love! We like to make any encounter had with the J’adore weddings team to be enjoyable, stress free & most importantly a quality experience. Bringing a calm, fun & enthusiastic team this is always achievable.

Starting with the boys we made our way over to the ‘Queenslander Suite’, setting up the gear while Todd rounded the boys up we started shooting near instantly. Playing around with the wedding detail photos, getting creative as always it wasn't long before the fun began. chatting away about this mornings round of golf the boys had played it was a funny conversation, they really were a great bunch of blokes to be shooting with. Never a dull moment to say the very least. When it came time to read the letter Jill had written for him you could see just how much those words meant to him, as he read it out loud there were definitely tears starting to flow.

Now it was time to head on over to the gorgeous bride Jill, walking in the first thing we noticed was Jill absolutely glowing with beauty. Meeting the bridesmaids and the two little ones Charlotte & Ivy who might we add all looked gorgeous we settled in with the gear and got right into it. While James got started on the brides details, Isla organised the girls on the couch and got some group shots capturing all of those moments of happiness while the reality of it being Jills wedding day started to really soak in. Little Ivy was having fun giving us all a little show of her roley polly skills, of course capturing all the smiles in-between. Having worked with children for many years I personally always enjoy getting to take photos of the little ones, always a challenge the get those cheeky smiles on camera in-between all the distractions around them, but I love it none the less. The time had now come for Jill to put her gorgeous dress on, turning her into a real life princess. It was safe to say we all were admiring Jill and how stunning she looked in this moment. Opening Todd’s letter, reading out loud it is never easy for us to hold back the tears of joy & happiness we feel for our couples on this special day, & this was no different. The love these two shared with one another was infinite, we were very thankful to have been apart of their special day.

Before long we could see guests arriving by the chapel, which meant it was nearly go time! Heading on down to the chapel to set everything up in preparation for the big moment, as guests starting to find their seats the boys made their way up to alter anxiously awaiting Jill to make her entrance. As the bridesmaids made their way down the isle you could see the happy/anxious & excited Todd was more then ready to marry the women of his dreams. Making her way down the isle there wasn't one set of eyes that weren't set on Jill, looking absolutely beautiful it was time to become husband & wife.

Following the ceremony we had our photos section, getting in the amazingly talented Dean Agar for this part of the day was an absolute pleasure. Shooting alongside Dean is always a great experience. Choosing all of the best spots the photos were effortlessly beautiful & we cant wait to share them all with our viewers.

It was now time for the more relaxed part of the day, the reception. Where our couples take the time to really let it all sink in, & enjoy some great music with family & friends along with the heartfelt speeches from their nearest & dearest. We love hearing the speeches of close friends & family, always so heart warming with a few funny stories here & there its always a good laugh along with a few tears shed. As the nights festivities continued on as did the cameras, rolling on through the night the reception was a blast.

Wishing this awesome couple nothing but the very best from the team here at J’adore, it was an absolute pleasure getting to shoot yet another successful wedding at the Intercontinental. May the rest of your marriage be filled with happiness, love & laughter.

Until next time

Summergrove Estate, Ben & Kylie's Wedding Photography & Video

Hi everybody Rob Bampton here thanks for taking a few moments to read J'adore Weddings blog. Today I will be walking you through my experience with Ben & Kylie at Summergrove Estate. J'adore was recommended to Ben by a mutual friend & from there we had decided to meet up for coffee. To me that is a good sign when the client wants to meet up it's clear that they value their wedding photography & video, this is also an important part of building that relationship we so often talk about.
