Rob Bampton - Office Manager/Cinematographer

Rob Bampton
Director

So my journey started around 10 years ago, I was a typical Aussie tradie and borrowed my Mums camera to take photos of the gardens I was building, next was a friend wanting some model photos taken, then a friend who couldn’t afford a photographer for their wedding, I shot that wedding with 1 battery and 1 memory card. Just charged the battery in the gaps lol This still blows my mind to this day.. but I enjoyed it and they liked the images.

Not long after I brought my first camera and spent the next 4/5 years obsessed with photography. I worked through every type before settling on Weddings, it really does just feel like it’s what I was meant to do! I love capturing the emotion that flows the big moments but also the small hidden moments and memories.

5 years in I made the change to videography. This was a big step! I feel like you can capture the moments with video in even more detail, almost like it can take you right back to that moment! I love spending the day with our couples and really getting to know them and there vision then 2 months later watching these moments together in the studio and seeing those same emotions come poring back in, as well as creating artwork and albums for them to treasure for the rest of there life

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? I think the invisible man because on your wedding day, you will forget that I am there and just enjoy your day and have fun, only appearing when you have a question. I have done over 300 weddings now everything that can go wrong has and I have made it work. I think that’s why I suit wedding I have the ability to stay calm and make the most of what ever situation we are in.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? Well ironically I did just make a travel series called bucket list.
1. Get married myself I am extremely lucky to have met the amazing Stayc and will be putting a ring on it so stay tuned!!
2. Have a family, wow just the thought of this is massive what an honor to bring a little human I to this world and help guide them on the path to life.
3.Open up my very own wedding venue it almost feels like destiny!!

What was the best concert you ever attended? Rage against the machine big day out!! People as far as the eye could see all jumping together!!

If you could be any animal, which would you be? I would be an owl for sure. I’m analytical and thoughtful. Prefer to work alone, loyal and responsible and do my best work at night time.

Matt Coleman - Videographer

Stayc Oconnell
Photographer

Born and raised in England, Manchester. I started my career in graphic design, and came out as a passionate photographer. I built up a photography portfolio through determination and got opportunities at well renowned studios in the UK working as a retoucher/ Photographer. I then came to Australia 8yrs ago where I started my freelance photographer career in magazines and commercials. As a kid I was always so arty and I have a history of artists and professional photographers in my family. We have so many photo albums that I used to look at for hours. I love how a photo is a moment frozen in time. Then I moved on to being obsessed with fashion magazines. This has an impact on my work today.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? To be able to fly. To have the freedom and ability to go and be anywhere in an instant. I would never be on the ground hahaha.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? To sleep in an igloo and see the northern lights, Do a van trip around New Zealand, get married.

What was the best concert you ever attended? Best concert was my first one when I was like 17yrs old. I went to see Robbie Williams and we were right at the front and he was talking to us! That set the bar high and I fell even more in love with him.

If you could be any animal, which would you be? I would be a dolphin, as I love the ocean, I’m a free spirit, fun, and smart haha.

What is the favourite part about working for J’adore Weddings? Spending time with the bride and groom and capturing the most important part of their lives. I love witnessing all of the emotions on the day

Dwayne Adams - Photographer

Natarlie Weller
Videographer and Editor

Hey I’m Nat, I’ve been lucky enough to have been apart of this crazy adventure that’s J'adore for quite a while now both editing and doing videography. I got into the creative industry by being an overly keen editor with a passion for learning and creating visual projects. From there I’ve been lucky enough to have been apart of the J’adore team for 5 years now.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? It’d have to be stealth invisibility.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? To pick 3 things out of my bucket list is a hard one, but going to Greece, shooting a doco series and backpacking North America would be up there.

What was the best concert you ever attended? Picking my favourite concert is like picking your favourite food, almost impossible! It’d be a tie between blink 182 and PNAU.

If you could be any animal, which would you be? I’d be a sloth, cruisy and a laid back attitude.

What is the favourite part about working for J’adore Weddings? My favourite part about working for J’adore is the broad creativity we’re able to be apart of. J’adore creates space for creative individuality as we get to work with a wide range of couples that each have their own quirks that makes their day always extra special and unique.

Lucie Arkel Sramkova
Social Media Manager

I have spent many years working in hospitality because it served a much greater purpose – it allowed me to travel and eventually brought me to Australia. However, there is so much more on my heart that I want to spend my energy on and invest in. So I have started my journey of supporting various events and companies that stand for something bigger – my absolute favourite – love. And that is why I am here at J'adore, reminding the world that love never dies.

If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose? Have super strong body so I can experience all the ridiculous adventurous things people do.

What are three things still left on your bucket list? Walk the Santiago de Compostella, Go to Burning Man, Do a handstand without support

What was the best concert you ever attended? Haven't really attended any. For me it is festivals! Earth Frequency being the best so far.

If you could be any animal, which would you be? Lion … I want to be cuddly and have their paws.

What is the favourite part about working for J'adore Weddings? The team has been amazing, really relaxed and fun yet focused. Laughter and fun makes everything better.
