Links Hope Island Wedding Photography

What a build up leading to this special day! Starting with their engagement photoshoot at Mt Tamborine Botanical Gardens we hit it off from the very start. Their engagement photoshoot was nothing but fun! From this point on I couldn’t wait to be apart of their wedding day as the head wedding photographer.

As the day drew closer it was smooth sailing, ash was on-top of everything! With the amount of communication we had there was nothing to miss. Starting with Ben & the boys who were only a short 5 min drive from Links was e got started! The grooms preparation is normally quite simple, the challenge is getting them organised a lot of things e time. In this case there was no challenge, Ben was calm collected and most of all.. organised!

The groom prep went smoothly as did the rest of the day. The had both given one another gifts with probably the most heart felt letters I have ever heard. The way Ash described her love for Ben was nothing short of incredible.

Moving along to ash’s prep it was quite similar. Very organised & very calm. As we arrived Ash was having her makeup done by Lara Quinn whom had done a fantastic job! Ash looked 10/10! Yet again, smooth sailing! Especially in her gorgeous gown from White Lily Couture!!

Come time for the ceremony which wasn’t far from where we were ( which makes everything super easy! ). We had an outdoor ceremony as our wet weather option backup as the weather forecast predicted rain. We had a little in the morning but from ceremony all the way to reception we had beautiful sky’s and 0 rain! The ceremony was beautiful decorated by Flowers By Lynda, Neon Republic & Style On Q.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, more heart felt words, expressing their love for one another in the most wonderful way possible. Celebrant Taryna Bennet from I Do For You ceremonies was on top of everything and delivered an amazing ceremony. We have been lucky enough to work with Tanya a lot lately and loving it!

Moving onto the photos section we were a little short on time but definitely made the most of it. As you will see below the skies were gorgeous! With that stormy feel minus the rain created some beautiful wedding photos. Being a wedding photographer I love to play with skies like that! Wedding photographers dream! We didn’t travel far but still had a lovely variety of images. We also got some photos by the Rolls Royce which the Bride had made her grand entrance on.

Before we knew it, it was time to enter the reception. Might I just add the effort Ben & Ash went to was impeccable. There were so many gorgeous details & party favours everywhere! From a personalised chocolate bar, to a picturesque ice sculpture it was all magnificent! The cake looked just stunning! ( Cakes By Lisa )

The night continued to go off with a gang! WE R DJ’s made sure the party kept going alongside band Signature Music Duo it was a never ending party! Event letters also helped light up the D floor & as always they are a great idea!

Finishing off with a sparkler edit the end the night, off the drove into the distance as husband & wife.
