Gold Coast wedding photography and cinematic wedding videography at Sol Gardens, Currumbin — Chloe & Sean’s faith-filled garden celebration on the Queensland / New South Wales border, captured with heart and honesty.
There’s something quietly powerful about a love story that starts as friendship… like a slow burn that finally decides to catch fire. Chloe & Sean met at work, both teachers, building a connection that moved from colleagues, to friends, to something a little more electric. Flirty friends turned secret dating, and now… husband and wife, standing in the open with a love that feels grounded, intentional, and deeply real.
Sol Gardens Currumbin Wedding Ceremony
On April 11, 2026, they said “I do” at Sol Gardens, a venue that feels like it was designed for moments exactly like this. Their ceremony unfolded beside the creek under a beautiful arbor, surrounded by close family and friends. It was intimate, emotional, and anchored in their shared faith in God, which wove its way through every word, every glance, every quiet pause.
What I loved most was how natural it felt — not performative, not rushed. Their vows carried that steady kind of devotion, like promises spoken with purpose, under the Lord’s blessing. You could feel the light of the Lord over their union… two lives becoming one, stepping forward as husband and wife with gratitude and peace. The kind of ceremony that doesn’t just look beautiful — it feels holy.
With memories that will last a life time & the kind of moments you simply can’t script.
Like their flower girl, bursting with excitement, dropped her basket halfway down the aisle but powered through with what her parents proudly call her “swimming arms” technique. It was less of a walk and more of a determined little sprint, and honestly, it was iconic. Meanwhile, the ring bearer had other plans entirely. After a full emotional protest & he decided the best man should take over ring delivery duties. Efficient? Debatable. Memorable? Absolutely.
Speaking of the best man… Sean’s twin brother. Which made for a hilarious subplot throughout the day because I genuinely had to double check more than once that I was filming the correct groom. Identical twins at a wedding will keep you on your toes, trust me.
Wedding Photos & Video Locations at Sol Gardens
After the ceremony, we wandered into portrait time with the bridal party, capturing moments in front of a stunning vintage car by Tic Tac Tours. Then we sent the bridal party off to cocktail hour while Chloe & Sean took a quiet moment together, walking down the long tree-lined driveway. No posing, no pressure… just the two of them soaking in that just-married feeling. Those are the moments that hit differently. The in-between magic.
And then came one of my favourite sequences of the day. I (yes, me, Jess) made my way down a slightly questionable rocky embankment to the creek near the bridge… because sometimes the shot is calling and you simply answer.
Chloe and Sean danced above on the bridge, laughter spilling out as he dipped her, sunlight pouring over them, water moving beneath, greenery wrapping around the whole scene like nature itself was framing them. Risky climb? Sure. Worth it? Every single time.
Back at cocktail hour, the garden party came alive. Their MC, a close friend, welcomed the bridal party with stories that had everyone laughing, setting the tone for a night that felt more like a celebration of who they are than just what they were doing.
They poured a champagne tower together, bubbles cascading as guests cheered, glasses clinking as they sealed it all with a kiss. Then, without missing a beat, they stepped straight into their first dance on the grass to L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole, playfully spelling out each letter as the song carried them through.
If you ask me? The most beautiful moments were the quiet ones.
The two of them under Chloe’s veil, smiling, stealing soft kisses like no one else existed. Or standing in the tree-lined field across from the venue, Sean leaning casually against the fence while Chloe melted into him. Those frames… they don’t shout. They linger.
And that’s the thing about this wedding. It wasn’t just a day. It was a feeling. One built on friendship, faith, laughter, and a whole lot of joy.
The speeches brought the heart. Chloe’s dad took everyone on a journey through her childhood, blending humour and emotion in a way only a father can. And throughout the day, the energy kept building thanks to Eddie, Chloe’s stepdad, performing live with Eddie and the Engine Room. Drums, vocals, pure atmosphere… later joined by a guitarist, turning the garden into a dance floor.
There were tequila shots waiting at the reception entrance (a crowd favourite, obviously), handcrafted cocktails flowing, and one final iconic moment as Chloe & Sean gathered their guests on the balcony to pop and spray champagne into the air. Pure celebration. No holding back.
Chloe & Sean, your story is something special. Thank you for trusting me to capture it.
