Wedding Video & Photography Combo

I first met with James & Mandy last year, I felt like there was a great connection from the start and that there wedding really did sound AMAZING with a really cute little venue for the ceremony to a great spot for the reception which was the new shopping area at emerald lakes, I hadn't been there yet so I decided to check out the area and do a model shoot there just to get accustomed to the area. I generally try to do this as it gives me a good feel for new areas that u haven't shot in yet. I assembled the team which included Tim who u flew up from Melbourne who has a very unique intimate candid style which lots of clients love and Dwayne who is a seasoned wedding photographer bit just on the Gold Coast and Brisbane but had shot a lot in Sydney aswell he uses a lot of flash and makes some really wow images. There styles are very different which is why I love putting them together and for the video I had Matt with me as usual when ever he isn't tavelling the world I love working with him his style is very creative and brings a fresh attitude to wedding videos. Below is the final result if the video We would all love to head from you in the comments section.

As for the photography I have some images from both Dwayne and a black & white slideshow that time prepared for the clients. There where lots of tears shed on the day firstly by James mums & dad when reading a letter that Mandy had written to them and then when Mandy was reading her letter from James, We then hit the ceremony where Mandy's emotional vows not only brought her to tears but sadly enough Tim and I both later admitted to following her lead, she really is very passionate and they are such a great match for each other with James being her rock. As usual we had a lot of fun spending the day with James, Mandy and there friends and family it really is the best job in the world, The other new thing we brought in for this wedding was the photobooth I have also written a blog about this to click here if you would like to know more, Finally we are excited to see them all again soon as we are also doing the photo and video for James's brothers wedding Lewis with his partner Natasha. Thanks for reading I look forward to chatting again soon.

Mount Tamborine Wedding Video

Yesterday I had a chance to head up to Mount Tamborine to shoot a wedding video. The location was at Tamborine Gardens, We where lucky enough to get a early checkin so came up in the morning, unfortunately as we arrived the rain started falling, I though about Holly & Gerard straight away although the ceremony was in a chapel so mainly with the bridal party photo session in mind, things cleared up just before the ceremony started which was great but surely enough it started raining soon after which made for some interesting family photos. After a little bit of a break the rain changed to more of a sprinkle and we decided to brave it and try for the photo session. The bridal party where lots of fun and made for some great video and through in a few special moments for the couple. I am looking forward to sorting through the footage for the couple this week. This morning I woke up early to get some sunrise photos of the venue we are staying at Bungunyah Manor Resort and was lucky enough to get a tour from Herman who works here who saw me taking photos and told me to jump in his truck and he would show me the best the mountain has to offer, it's pretty rare to see people so kind and friendly especially at 6am, it was great to get a chance to chat to him and learn a bit more about the place. So for the rest of the day it is a chance for us to check out the rest of the mountain all the shops and some of the other mt Tamborine wedding venues, I am really hoping to get my foot in the door and do a some wedding photography aswell as videography thanks for reading our blog as always.

Nick & Elissa's Mt Mee Wedding Photography

elissa.jpg

Here at J'adore weddings we love that we get to shoot at so many beautiful locations. I had never been to Mt Mee before and the view was just breathtaking. Elissa's and Nicks wedding was a small and intimate wedding in the cute little Mt Mee chapel. The Bride, along with her family got ready in a cottage just down the road from the chapel. I did the videoing, while Rob did the photography. Elissa is such a beautiful person and was a pleasure to photograph. Having known Nick and Elissa now for the past 12 years it felt special to be a part of their day. With the flower gardens making for a perfect background the shots turned well.

Jacqui & Rejean's Tamborine Garden Wedding Video

Last weekend our J'adore team had the pleasure of videoing one of my closest friend's wedding. Jacqui and I have known each other over the past 13 years, so it was an honour to be capturing her special event. The wedding took place at Mt Tamborine Botanical Gardens. The cherry blossoms made a stunning natural isle for the beautiful bride as she walked to meet her groom. With so many flowers out in bloom setting the scene for a picturesque garden wedding. We had lots of fun doing the video and got some nice footage. Currently editing at the moment, so stay tuned for the finished product
