Hervey Bay Wedding Photography & Videography - Ian & Lauren

Not so long ago now we were lucky enough to have travelled to Hervey Bay to be apart of Lauren & Ian’s bay wedding. Lauren being from Childers not so far from this gorgeous little town it made sense to have the most treasured & special day of her life in such a beautiful location so close to home. Travelling just over 4 hours with apart of the J’adore crew the time flew by. Arriving the night before it was an early night and an even earlier start the following day, thus being wedding day!

Heading down to the venue Waterfront Restaurant located right on the beach only minutes walk from the peer it was a gorgeous location to spend such a special day & evening. Having a little walk around before everything was set up we had a good look at some possible photo locations, being prepared and organised is something we strive towards for each & every wedding we attend. Creating the best possible outcome for all of our J’adore couples.

Looking at the weather reports the day prior it wasn't looking like we were going to get any sunshine, having a little rain through the morning Lauren was a little worried. come time for the ceremony the sun was shining, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Despite the little bit of wet ground everyone was still all smiles & tears of joy throughout the entire afternoon.

Starting off with the boys you could tell instantly they were going to be a funny bunch, with the strong kiwi accent & great sense’s of humour it was nothing but smiles & laughs from all the boys. Once they boys were ready we conducted a short interview with Ian, asking a few simple questions & receiving the most heartfelt of answers. Doing this makes for an amazing video, showing those raw emotions and capturing the essence of where his true love laid. Which was with none other then his gorgeous wife Lauren.

Shortly after this it was time for the crew to head on over to the girls! Leaving Isla with the boys to get some group shots while the sun was out left them feeling at ease & enjoying the moments leading up to Ian’s big day. Having 6 brothers whom all travelled from New Zealand we made the most of the photo section we had, capturing some unforgettable moments of all the boys together once again.

Arriving at the ladies apartment the excitement was showing strongly, all the girls looking absolutely stunning not to mention the gorgeous bride Lauren looking just perfect! Her makeup done beautifully by Mariah Lee - MUA accompanied by her stunning gown crafted by Brides In Love she couldn't have looked any more perfect! Getting some snapshots of the girls together, having fun and enjoying this special time together before Lauren marries the love of her life we captured every moment and everything in between.

Before long it was time to head down to the ceremony, with all the guests ready and patiently awaiting for gorgeous Lauren's arrival the excitement was showing left right & centre. Walking down the isle Ian was all smiles, nothing in that moment could wipe that one away. He was in absolute ore of his stunning wife to be. And who wouldn't be?! She looked amazing!

At this stage the sun was shining and the weather was just perfect.

After exchanging heartfelt vows & promises, a few lovely speeches it was time for Mr & Mrs Stead to walk back down the isle hand in hand & ready to take on the world.

Getting the bridal party into the van we headed off to our first location, the Hervey Bay Botanical gardens. Which might I just add were beautiful!! Usually shooting at the gold coast botanical gardens it was a lovely change of scenery for us. Shortly after it was time to head down to the peer, full of people we managed to get some great shots of the group as the sun was setting behind them. Even a few funny shots of Ian & Lauren fishing off the peer together, we love images like this. Creating something unique for both the bride & groom to remember & look back on, making life long memories together already.

Wasn't long before it was time to head into the reception to meet all the guests held at the Waterfront Restaurant & have a bit of well deserved fun! Jumping straight into the first dance after entrance was a spectacular idea, opening the night with a bang!

When it came time for speeches they were by far some of our favourites, with some humour, love, and good old memories they couldn't have been any better. Spoken from the heart you could hear in their voices how much they truly meant to each other.

The night continued on with some wild dance moves, smiles, laughter & nothing but happiness it was the perfect ending to a perfect day & we are so very privileged to have been apart of this special day.

We thank you for choosing J’adore Wedding Films to be apart of this wonderful day and we cannot wait to share these special moments with you. From everyone here at the J’adore team, congratulations & we wish you nothing but pure happiness, love & so much more.

Until next time,
