RACV Royal Pines Wedding Photography & Videography

Starting this wonderful day with the groom’s prep we were in and out before they knew it and on our way to Bonnie & her bridesmaids. Arriving to the girls just about ready we started snapping away, getting all of the detail shots as we awaited Bonnie in her stunning gown, crafted by none other than Rosa & Mary's Bridal Shop. Wearing a gorgeous crystal head piece Bonnie looked nothing short of AMAZING! Hair done by Kelly Coleman & flowers supplied by Alanah Cherie Floristry everything couldn't have been more perfect! Having her 3 bridesmaids assist her in doing up the delicate buttons on the back of the gown for the first time in her life it was safe to say she was a little nervous, and from what we know of Bonnie this doesn't happen very often! Just goes to show how close she holds Mitch to her heart, nerves are such a natural part of this process. Sometimes you just need to embrace the ride for what it is and know that at the end of the day, everything will be Ok. & That's exactly what it was, more than okay though.. it was fantastic!! Seeing the smiles on both of their faces come reception time it was safe to say they enjoyed the ride & had a great time along the way!

Shortly after finishing with the bridal prep we made our way back downstairs to the chapel which had been beautifully decorated by our favorite events design team W Events Group. They had gone above & beyond with the arbor which was just beautiful! Covered in stunning floral accompanied by a macrame in the background. While the guests were patiently waiting outside we wasted no time in getting everything set up & ready to go for Bonnie’s entrance.

Before long it was GO time. One by one the bridesmaids made their way to the arbor as Bonnie followed closely behind. The smile on Mitch’s face was priceless, you could just see in his eyes how much Bonnie meant to him in that very moment. Capturing that moment on camera is just as priceless as the moment it self, enabling couples to go back to these social points in time has to be one of my favorite parts. Having the ability to do this warms my heart & definitely fuels the passion for what I do as a wedding photographer. & I know that Rob & the rest of the J’adore family feel the same.

Having the one and only Shane Vincent celebrant to marry both Bonnie & Mitch there was no dull moment in sight, with his quirky attitude and well-spoken manner it was the perfect ceremony and fit bride & grooms personalities perfectly. It wasn't long now before they were walking hand in hand as Mr & Mrs Straube. & boy were they happy about it!!

Moving outside we continued with the congratulations and family portraits. before we knew it, it was time to head off in the buggies to our first photo location, Spending a good few hours getting some amazing images wasn't hard with such a playful group. Having Bonnie & Mitch’s furry baby come & say hello was a major bonus for them both… maybe me too… I love dogs! Especially when they are as gorgeous as this one! Getting a few quick family portraits he was just loving it! There was nothing but licks on the face and some very happy faces.

As the sun was setting the coolness of winter started to kick in, thus being time to head up to reception. Being on the 21st floor the view was great, the layout even better again styled by W Events Group. Coming straight into the first dance it was beautiful, watching them both move so calmly around the dance floor in each others arms just reminds you of how special a love like theirs is. Straight after Bonnie & her father had a dance together and was no different, such intense love between the two nearly made me tear up just watching!

The food started to come out as everyone enjoyed mingling amongst themselves, shortly after this followed the speeches and cutting of the cake, made and crafted by Corbolicious Cakes Short & sweet yet beautiful in their own ways.

We thank Mitch & Bonnie for having us be apart of their special day and we cannot wait to be sharing all of their gorgeous images & video with you. From the team here at J’adore we wish the both of you nothing but pure happiness, love & a lot of laughter! which I'm sure there will be no shortage of!!

Congratulations!!

Until next time,
