Summergrove Estate Wedding Photography

What only feels like yesterday we were the wedding photographers at Alex & Krystal's RACV Wedding, & today the wedding photographers at Skye's wedding. ( Krystal's sister. )

Skye was Krystal's maid of honour so we had a good chance to meet well before her wedding date. & visa-versa Krystal being Skye's maid of honour it was great to see both Krystal & Alex again. Not to mention Mum & Dad!

We just love working with couples that we have had the opportunity to get to know, it gives the day a very nice & relaxing feel. This combined with a beautiful wedding venue is just heaven on earth for a wedding photographer.

Summergrove Estate is always a pleasure, we love shooting there & will continue to love shooting there. With the gorgeous surroundings, amazing chapel, brand new barn & some picturesque photo locations it doesn't get much better.

Arriving a little early we still got straight to work, I went and saw the girls getting ready while Rob got the drone up for a few venue photos whilst the guests were arriving. Skye was just about finished her hair & makeup by the lovely ladies at Blush'd Brides, & she just looked beautiful. Her dress was to die for and the shoes just completed the package. Comfort is key!! Skye had some pretty cool Converse shoes with the personalised script on the sides it was such a great idea! Skye's bouquet was a beautiful piece to the puzzle, it was such a naturally gorgeous wedding bouquet arrangement of wildflowers, it suited perfectly.

Skye & Michael had their wedding ceremony in the beautiful chapel, displaying some of the finest views the tweed coast has to offer. I just loved the smile Skye had on her face the entire ceremony, its that of an infectious smile that just lights up the entire room whenever you see it. Marry Me Elopements had done a wonderful job marrying these two lovebirds who you could just tell were in awe of one another at that moment. The way they smiled at one another was something you see in movies!

Moving onto the photo's section ( my favourite part of the day ), we had fun each picking a location to shoot one after the other. With that soft afternoon sunlight combined with a stunning wedding venue, it was just such an enjoyable afternoon creating beautiful memories for the happy couple.

As the sun was setting it was nearly time to enter the reception, but there's always one last shot to take another image, we just couldn't help it! The colours were too good! After that last shot, the time had come for Skye & Michael to enter & spend some quality time with their family & friends.

The rest of the evening was filled with happy memories & lots of love. We truly had such a wonderful day being Michael & Skye's wedding photographers, we are very excited to be sharing their images with you. Enjoy!
