Jacob & Meg's Highfield Farmstay New South Wales Wedding

Jacob and Meg's wedding day was filled with so much raw emotion, love and pure happiness.

As a wedding blogger for J’adore Weddings, it is my job to watch what our videographers and photographers capture on all of our couple's incredible days. And I have to say, Jacob and Meg's day of celebrating their love for one another is one of my favourite weddings I have been able to write about so far! 

This wonderful celebration of love took place at Highfield Farmstay, which is only a one-hour flight from the Gold Coast and a two-hour flight from Brisbane. It was honestly one of the most spectacular locations, which varied from misty mountains, countryside, vineyards quirky little undercover shelters and even a Tipi! J’adore Weddings was honoured to be a part of this magical union of two souls.

Two aspects of Jacob and Meg's beautiful day that stood out to me, was watching them get ready to unite as husband and wife. Meg beamed with excitement as she showed her loved ones her final look. Jacob was filled with tears as you could see all of the feelings he was going through before saying 'I do' to the love of his life.

The second was the couple's vows and how their love story began. Meg was so patient while waiting for Jacob for nine whole months for the handsome Jacob to finally pluck up the courage to ask her out, and as they gradually got to know each other they grew a bond unbelievably deep and the rest was history. Like Meg said when she first met Jacob she knew that this very moment would happen in their future.

Capturing Love in the Skies: Clint & Oxana

J'adore was delighted to have embarked on a truly unforgettable journey with Clint and Oxana, capturing their love story in the most extraordinary setting imaginable. From the thrilling helicopter ride to the intimate beach ceremony, every moment was a testament to the magic of love and adventure.

Our adventure began at Main Beach on the Gold Coast, where anticipation filled the air as we awaited the exhilarating helicopter takeoff. With cameras in hand, we joined Clint and Oxana as they soared above the picturesque coastline, taking in the stunning views of the Gold Coast's iconic beaches. It was a surreal experience, made even more special by the joy of sharing it with our incredible clients.

Touching down on a secluded beach, we witnessed the intimate union of Clint and Oxana accompanied only by the gentle whispers of the ocean and the warm embrace of the sun. Against this breathtaking backdrop, their love shone brighter than ever as they exchanged vows and promises for a lifetime together. The simplicity and elegance of the moment were truly unforgettable.

As Clint and Oxana sealed their love with a kiss, we couldn't help but feel honoured to be a part of their journey. In a touching display of trust and intimacy, they chose us to bear witness to their special day. With the celebrant Ryan Black by their side, the bond between the couple was solemnized in an elopement ceremony filled with love and authenticity.

With the sound of the waves as their music, Clint and Oxana shared their first dance as husband and wife, their joy radiating across the beach. It was a celebration of love and companionship amidst the beauty of nature. As they danced and laughed beneath the open sky, it was clear that their journey together was just beginning.

As we bid farewell to the beach and flew back we carried with us the memories of a day filled with love, adventure, and breathtaking beauty. Clint and Oxana's wedding was truly a magical experience. J'adore is grateful to have been a part of their story and helped capture those cherished moments, and we wish them a lifetime of happiness and adventure as they soar into their future together.

Josh and Banu Mobile Barbershop Depot Gold Coast Wedding

It's incredible to think that three years have flown by since I had the privilege of documenting not just a client's, but a friend's wedding day. Banu entrusted me with the important task of capturing her special day—a responsibility that meant the world to me.

The choice of venue, Mobile Barbershop Depot Bundal on the Gold Coast, was delightfully surprising yet captivating – a barbershop transformed into an intimate event space. Surrounded by twinkling fairy lights and plush Chesterfield couches, it exuded a warm and enchanting atmosphere, setting the stage perfectly for the union of two beautiful souls.

Throughout the day, Josh and Banu radiated love and joy, their playful banter a testament to the deep bond they shared.

"Till sharks do us part," Josh and Banu's inside joke, carries a whimsical yet profound meaning, It's not just a playful twist on traditional vows; it's a declaration of their steadfast devotion. In Banu's jest lies a promise that they will remain together come what may, their bond enduring even the most improbable circumstances. It's a reminder that their love transcends the ordinary, anchored in a shared sense of humour and unwavering commitment. So, as they exchanged laughter and vows, they affirmed that their love would endure, unyielding against the tides of life, until the unlikely event of sharks devouring Josh—though, undoubtedly, their love would still linger in the depths beyond.

One of the most touching moments was witnessing Banu being escorted down the aisle by both her mother and father, fulfilling a dream she had cherished since childhood. Despite her mother's battle with cancer, she stood proudly by her daughter's side, her love and strength shining through. Tragically, not long after Banu's wedding, her mother passed away, leaving a void that is deeply felt every day. Yet, her presence on that special day remains a cherished memory, a testament to the enduring bond between a mother and her daughter. It was a privilege to witness such raw emotion and genuine love, a reminder of the beauty and fragility of life.

As they celebrate their third anniversary, Josh and Banu find themselves surrounded by even more love and laughter, with a new addition welcomed into their midst. Banu's heartfelt vow to be the best stepmother and partner resonates deeply, a testament to the love and dedication that bind their family together. Alongside their own child, whom they've joyfully welcomed into the world, Josh's two children, who stood witness on their wedding day, remain integral parts of their family's tapestry. With each passing day, their bond grows stronger, creating a home filled with warmth and happiness.

Weddings like these remind me why I adore my work. Relive the magic of Drew & Kacee's 9th Wedding anniversary with their Sirromet Winery wedding in Brisbane

As I reminisce about Drew and Kacee's wedding day, it's astounding to think that nine years have passed since that beautiful January day in 2015. Their love story has continued to blossom, now enriched by the presence of their two adorable daughters, aged 5 and 6. Kacee has pursued her passion as a nurse, while Drew remains dedicated to his work on boats in Western Australia.

Reflecting on their special day, I recall the heartfelt emotions as Kacee's father made his way up the stairs, his tears of pride and love setting off a chain reaction of emotions among the bridal party. It was a morning filled with anticipation and joy, from the emotional bride prep to the laid-back groom prep, complete with a trip to the barber.

One of the standout memories from that day remains etched vividly in my mind—the perfect veil toss captured in a photograph that still takes my breath away. It was a moment of pure magic, a testament to the joy and love that permeated every aspect of their wedding day. I can't help but smile at the memory of Drew's impatience with us, waiting for the wind to cooperate for the veil shot. He was eager to join his friends and family, but when he heard Kacee's and my own screams of delight his impatience melted away into sheer delight when he saw the breathtaking result on the camera screen, he knew those extra moments were worth it.

The ceremony itself was a dreamy affair set against the backdrop of Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton. The Laguna ceremony space, with its natural lagoon and lush bushland, provided a picturesque setting for exchanging vows amidst the natural beauty of Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton. Despite the tight aisle, our coordinated wedding photo and video team from Jadore Weddings ensured seamless execution, capturing every tender exchange and joyous celebration. Following the ceremony, we embarked on a creative journey with the bridal party, capturing moments of laughter and camaraderie amidst the stunning scenery. With just the bride and groom, we had the opportunity to capture intimate moments that truly encapsulated their love and connection.

The reception at Sirromet Winery was nothing short of magical, with custom themes and exquisite table settings adorning the Barrel Hall reception area. As heartfelt speeches gave way to spirited dancing, it was evident that love and laughter were the true stars of the evening.

I'm deeply grateful for the chance to be part of their journey. Moments like these reaffirm why I cherish my role as the videographer and owner of Jadore Weddings.

This wedding, now nine years past, holds a special place in my heart. It not only marks a milestone in Drew and Kacee's journey but also in my own career. Despite starting my wedding videography career twelve years ago, the joy I experience today remains as fresh and profound as when I first began. I am dedicated to bringing that same love and enthusiasm to every wedding I film, and I intend to continue capturing love stories for as long as my shoulders can bear the weight of my equipment. Joe & Tayla's Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Gold Coast Wedding

Joe and Tayla's wedding day was truly an unforgettable one. 

The couple's perfect day took place at the Intercontinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, located on the Gold Coast. You couldn't ask for anything more beautiful and elegant than being surrounded by tropical gardens and lagoons. 

During their wedding vows, you could see how much love and appreciation Joe and Tayla have for one another. Joe expresses how kind, genuine and loyal Tayla is. And Tayla says that 'loving you is the best thing that has ever happened to me.' To end the ceremony, with a little dance down the aisle, the pair beamed with excitement as husband and wife. 

Amongst celebrating the reception with having dinner, cutting the cake, the bride and groom's first dance and spectacular speeches. Something so special about this reception was that Joe and Tayla celebrated the Māori culture. Their male family and friends did this by performing the Haka and the women performed beautiful cultural prosperity dances. This included, money being placed on a beautiful blanket for the couple to start their marriage with some luck and good fortune.
