Our team of three was lucky enough to partake in Jeffery & Yuri’s big day held at the RACV resort. As the day was shaping up to be the perfect summery winter afternoon, we couldn’t be more excited to get stuck into our photography and videography.
With both bride & groom getting ready at the same location this made it easier for us to be able to quickly get those key moments from both Yuri & Jeffery before heading off to the outdoor ceremony. Yuri had her hair & makeup done by Hollywood Brides & they did a fantastic job! Yuri had her bouquet crafted by B Sweet Flowers.
The ceremony was lavishly created to showcase an intimate ceremony under the canopy of the Royal Pines trees, this beautiful styling was done by W Events Group. They also had some beautiful big bright letters from Event Letters that made for some beautiful images.
With guests starting to turn up everywhere we quickly went to putting the lapel on Jeff and setting up our tripods and camera gear, in preparation for Yuri’s arrival. It wasn’t long before all the seats were filled with friends and family from both parties and the ceremony music was starting to commence with the beautiful bride walking down the aisle with her father and best dog friend.
Ceremonies are always such a beautiful and intimate affair for us to be apart of, and it’s one of the reasons why we love our jobs so much. Jeffery & Yuri’s ceremony had those tearful personal vows and that touch of humour from their hand picked celebrant Jodie Cochrane. ( Just you Weddings.)
Before long we were heading off to our photo section after family photos where we were lucky enough to use Royal Pines Resorts grounds where they have some exciting key photo features.
The reception was held again at RACV resort, and created a exquisitely personal room filled with individual touches. we went ahead by taking a few shots and then the guests started to arrive. With a massive Photo Booth centred to the right and many props to choose from, we had a ball taking clips of everyone partaking in the fun. To the entry was a set up for guests to leave personal messages in the form of jenga blocks which guests took to writing on before the bridal party arrived.
We love seeing bridal party entrances theirs always so much energy and happiness as our loved ones are their to celebrate around you, and this was no different with the uproar when Jeff & Yuki entered their reception ballroom.
After the bridal party arrived dinner was served by RACV and they outdid themselves again, catering to the finest quality of foods and always so accomodating and helpful, we loved working with their team and reception. They had their cake created by Sweet Frostings & it looked delicious!
Another favourite part of the day is speeches, there’ll always be a friend or family that’ll have something from the couples childhood come up and that’s our favourite bits, being able to learn more about the couples like we did with Jeffrey and Yuri.
It wasn’t long before the formalities were over and it was dancing time, we saw a lot of guests bust out their moves, and flock to the photo booth, before we knew it guests were starting to sing their praises and say their final goodbyes before the happy couple was off to start their marriage.
