There’s something unforgettable about a wedding that truly reflects a couple’s personality, and Scott & Emma’s Pokemon themed wedding at Sirromet Winery was the perfect mix of heartfelt emotion, fun energy and meaningful personal touches. From the moment we arrived, the day already had such a relaxed and happy atmosphere surrounding it.
The morning began with the girls getting ready, and the vibe was calm, easygoing and full of excitement for everything ahead. Emma had just finished having her makeup done when we arrived and looked absolutely stunning. Her wedding dress instantly caught our attention with its beautiful layers, intricate detailing and elegant movement that looked incredible on camera. We spent some time capturing all the smaller details for their cinematic wedding video, from the accessories to the finishing touches that helped tell the story of the day.
Not long after, we headed over to the boys where the energy completely shifted into laughter, banter and nonstop jokes. The groomsmen were having an amazing time together, and those genuine moments always create some of the best memories in a wedding film. One of our favourite parts of the day was seeing how Scott & Emma incorporated their love of Pokemon throughout the wedding. Rather than feeling over the top, the Pokemon themed details felt personal, creative and perfectly suited to them as a couple. From the pocket squares to the bouquets and styling details, every little touch helped make their wedding feel unique and unforgettable.
Their ceremony took place at the stunning Sirromet Winery in Mount Cotton, one of the most beautiful winery wedding venues in Brisbane. With sweeping lake views and perfect weather, the setting created the dreamiest backdrop for both photography and videography. As Emma walked down the aisle, Scott’s emotional reaction was one of those genuine moments that reminds us exactly why we love filming weddings. Capturing real emotion in a natural way is always one of the most important parts of creating a timeless wedding film.
The ceremony itself was filled with so much love and emotion. You could see the connection between them in every glance and every smile throughout the entire afternoon. After the ceremony, we explored the winery grounds for bridal party photos and video, taking advantage of the incredible scenery Sirromet Winery is known for. Between the rolling landscapes, lakeside views and golden light, it was the perfect setting for romantic wedding videography.
As the sun began to disappear, the celebrations moved into the reception where the atmosphere completely came alive. The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter, emotional speeches and so many fun moments shared between family and friends. These are always some of our favourite parts of the wedding day to capture because they show the energy, personality and love surrounding each couple.
Scott & Emma’s wedding was such a beautiful reminder that the best weddings are the ones that feel authentic to who you are. Their Pokemon themed wedding at Sirromet Winery was creative, emotional and filled with unforgettable moments from beginning to end, and we feel incredibly grateful to have captured such an important chapter of their lives.
