There are weddings that make an impact, and then there are weddings that completely steal your heart. Billy and Eva’s wedding at Gabbinbar Homestead in Toowoomba was absolutely one of those. As a wedding videographer in Queensland, I’ve had the privilege of capturing love stories in some incredible locations, but Gabbinbar Homestead will always hold a special place in my heart. With its 150-year-old gardens, towering ancient trees, and perfectly manicured lawns, it’s a venue that feels like a step back in time—in the most enchanting way.

From the moment I arrived, the energy was electric. Everyone had truly embraced the elegance of the occasion, dressed to the nines in classic wedding fashion—tuxedos and stunning formal attire. It set the tone for a wedding that was not just a celebration of love, but also of style, friendship, and deep connection.

Eva looked absolutely breathtaking in her wedding gown, radiating elegance and grace with every step. The intricate details of her dress shimmered in the soft afternoon light, creating the most ethereal bridal portraits. The guys were equally dapper in their sharp suits and tuxedos, exuding classic sophistication. Photographing them together, sharing laughter and excitement before the ceremony, was a joy to capture.

What made Billy and Eva’s love story even more special was the journey they had taken to get to this moment. Having spent the last 20 years together, their bond wasn’t just about romance—it was about true friendship. You could feel it in the way they looked at each other, in the way they laughed together, and in the quiet, unspoken moments they shared throughout the day—speaking to their familiarity and love.

One of my favourite moments was seeing their gorgeous dog act as the ring bearer. As an animal lover, I can’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate your wedding than by including your fur baby in the ceremony. It was a reminder that love comes in many forms—not just between partners, but in the unconditional love we share with our pets.

The family portraits in Gabbinbar’s study, surrounded by the grandeur of the big Chesterfield lounges, were truly something special. The rich, timeless aesthetic of the study added a regal touch to these moments, creating portraits that felt like they belonged in a classic painting. These are the types of images that will be cherished for generations—timeless, elegant, and filled with love.

From golden hour portraits in Gabbinbar’s stunning gardens to the laughter-filled reception, every part of the day was absolute perfection. From the heartfelt vows to the emotional first look, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Tears of joy flowed freely as Billy and Eva made their lifelong promises to each other, surrounded by family, friends, and a sea of love. It was one of those weddings where you could feel the emotion in the air—raw, real, and incredibly beautiful.

A Wedding by the Water: James and Sammy’s Beautiful Day

James and Sammy’s wedding day was nothing short of magical, set against the stunningly renovated Currumbin RSL, perched right on the water. This beautiful Gold Coast wedding venue provided the perfect location for their celebration, with breathtaking views and an elegant atmosphere that complemented the couple’s love story.

This wedding held a special place in my heart because I’ve had the privilege of knowing James and Sammy for many years—long before their paths crossed. To witness their love story unfold from the beginning has been such a joy, and being there to capture their wedding day was truly an honour. Even more special, they recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary, a testament to the love and bond they continue to nurture

The bridal party looked absolutely gorgeous, with bridesmaids dressed in matching pink robes and dresses, and groomsmen in soft, baby blue—a touch of elegance paired with a playful nod to the joy of the day. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, creating the ideal setting for capturing their memories. The day was beautifully documented by a talented team combining J'adore Weddings and Digital Dreamcatcher, with Jess, Ben, and Rob working behind the cameras to craft a visual story filled with artistry and care.

Their first dance as a married couple was a tender and intimate moment, setting the tone for a night of heartfelt celebration. Surrounded by family and friends, their love was palpable, creating an atmosphere of warmth and joy. James' moving speech at the reception praised Sammy’s loving and caring nature, bringing guests to tears with his heartfelt words. Paired with the couple’s cheeky yet meaningful vows, it was a beautiful insight into their unique bond and the bright future they’ve envisioned together.

Later, a playful wedding photo booth added to the fun, allowing guests and the couple to capture lighthearted moments. The night ended with an unforgettable moment: James kissing Sammy under the glow of sparklers, surrounded by cheering loved ones. It was the perfect ending to a truly spectacular day.

James and Sammy’s wedding truly celebrated love, joy, and the beautiful coming together of two amazing families. Victoria and Miroslav’s Sacred Union: A Wedding Full of Divine Connection, Love, and Cultural Celebration in Murwillumbah, NSW

In the heart of Murwillumbah, New South Wales, surrounded by the Tweed River and nature’s beauty, Victoria and Miroslav’s wedding was nothing short of magical. The bride stunned in a dress delicately adorned with floral details on the train and bodice, her hair crowned with baby’s breath, adding an ethereal touch to the day. The groom made a grand entrance, riding in on a horse, setting the tone for a day that celebrated not just their love, but the blending of rich cultural traditions.

The ceremony was alive with energy, from flag waving and traditional dances to captivating music that resonated through the hills. The spiritual connection between Victoria and Miroslav was palpable, with every moment infused with the vibrant energy of their bond. Their vows offered glimpses into the essence of their relationship—Miroslav confessed how he first found Victoria intimidating, only to discover her playful and charming side, with her laugh and tenacity becoming his most cherished traits. Victoria admitted that despite never imagining them getting married when they first met, she now couldn’t imagine life without him.

Adding to the joy was Maurice, the couple’s beloved pug, who surprised everyone by arriving as the ring bearer in a remote-controlled car. The scene was pure delight, followed by the couple walking down the aisle as newlyweds under a shower of flower petals—the footage captured was truly magical. Miroslav’s heartfelt speech sealed the day’s emotions, leaving not a dry eye in the house as he shared his deep love and admiration for Victoria. It was clear to all present that the couple had no shortage of admiration and adoration from those attending their special day.

The spiritual elements were a beautiful focal point, as High Priestess Ivy and Lead Priestess Mariam of the Wedding Coven helped guide this spiritually infused celebration which added an extra layer of depth to their day perfect for this spiritually guided wedding. Vibrant colours filled the space, complementing the natural beauty of the landscape and enhancing the energy of the day. The combination of ceremony, nature, and connection created a celebration unlike any other.

Afterwards, our newlyweds made their way inside the M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah, NSW, a venue known for its art-deco façade and a space for creative people come together, where they prepared to dance the night away with friends and family. The promise of the future filled the evening with joy, as guests celebrated the couple's recent vows.

The celebration was filled with lively cultural traditions, including musicians playing trumpets, an accordion, and singers, along with flag waving and vibrant dances from different cultures. Guests enjoyed Rakija throughout the night, served in a traditional wooden flask called a čuturica, allowing the bride and groom to share the spirit with everyone. The evening culminated in the Croatian kolo circle dance, with everyone joining in, united by the music and the joy of the occasion.

One friend asked the guests what came to mind when they thought about the couple and their union. Many shared how this couple represents a new wave of communities building empires, and one even described them as the future template for love and partnership, limitless in their growth. The room was filled with warmth as others expressed how their love had blessed everyone present, with one guest simply saying, “Just be as you are, where you are in this moment—that’s all that’s required.”

Miroslav shared a touching moment, explaining how he wanted to grow alongside Victoria, and spoke of how, through an ancestry test, they discovered this was the first time their cultures and bloodlines had united in such a way.

The evening was filled with love, culture, and meaningful connections—a perfect reflection of the couple’s beautiful union and the bright future ahead. Kaitlin and Stephen's Magical Stanthorpe Wedding

Being a part of Kaitlin and Stephen's wedding day was an absolute honor and a privilege. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories that truly warmed our hearts.

When we received the news that their scheduled videographer had fallen ill with COVID-19 the day before their wedding, our hearts sank. We knew we had to step in and help make their day as perfect as possible. As the owner of J'adore Weddings, it's moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. Being able to step in and ensure that every precious moment of their special day was captured with care and expertise was incredibly rewarding.

From the intimate moments of preparation at Honeysuckle Cottages in Stanthorpe, Queensland, to the heartfelt ceremony at St. Joseph's Parish, and the joyous celebration at the International, every moment was filled with love and emotion. Stanthorpe provided the perfect backdrop for their country-styled wedding, and we were honored to be a part of it.

One of the highlights for us was capturing Kaitlin and Stephen's love and chemistry during their romantic photo session on a picturesque train track. It was a moment of pure magic that we'll never forget.

But the most unforgettable moment of all was witnessing their first dance as husband and wife. As they twirled and swayed to the music, surrounded by their loved ones, it was clear that their love was truly meant to last a lifetime. What made it even more special were the multiple music changes and dance routines they seamlessly transitioned between, each one adding an extra layer of joy and excitement to the moment. It was a testament to their love, creativity, and the unique bond they shared.

Being a part of Kaitlin and Stephen's wedding day was a reminder of why we love what we do. It's moments like these that make all the hard work worth it. We're so grateful to have been a part of their special day, and we can't wait to capture more love stories in the future.

I don't think there is anything better than celebrating the best day of your life. Your wedding. At a spectacular winery with your family and closest friends. 

And that is exactly what our wonderful couple Emily and Paul did. 

J'adore Weddings had the privilege to capture and witness Emily and Paul's special day. This wedding took place at the Cedar Creek Estate Vineyard & Winery, located in the picturesque Tambourine Mountain in Queensland. 

From the start to the end of the day, Emily, Paul, their children and loved ones beamed with happiness. From getting ready for the day to the ceremony, adorable children's speeches, their first dance as husband and wife, and of course cutting the cake. 

Creek Estate Weddings offers so much character and beauty. Starting off with the most gorgeous chapel that carried out the wedding ceremony. Which was followed by Emily and Paul walking hand in hand in the vineyard leading their bridal party. Standing next to a scenic dam, which highlighted so much of the Estates' beauty. Lastly, finishing off the day in a beautiful function room to eat, dance and celebrate with family and friends. 

With the couple celebrating their wedding in May, it was the perfect time of year to take in all that Autumn has to offer. Emily stated that she loved the colours of the Autumn leaves.
